I had an incredible time volunteering with Ghana Volunteer International, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. I absolutely fell in love with Ghana—the people, the culture, and the spirit of togetherness. I’m already planning my next trip and can’t wait to return. The organisation was very good. I really recommend it. Our organisator was always available for us when we had any questions or problems. We were never left alone. Ebenezer has been amazing since I arrived to Ghana. He is super friendly and really welcomed all the volunteers. Ghana Volunteer - An Amazing Experience! I had the pleasure of working with Ghana Volunteer, and it truly exceeded my expectations in every way. The owner, a kind, genuine, and professional man, went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. He handled any issues or challenges with ease, providing a stress-free experience for everyone involved. The trips organized by Ghana Volunteer were seamless, well-planned, and an absolute joy. From start to finish, every detail was taken care of, allowing me to focus on the experience itself. All of the time he went on the trips with us, to ensure that we would be safe and that we would see the best places in each region. Also the plan was made upfront so we could decide where to stay and what we would want to see. But he never left us alone, if we had problems or questions. He booked the rooms and even if there was a small change of plans he always let us decide what we would like to do or not do. What I really like was that he was so immense flexible and calm with our trips. The accommodations were fantastic—a spacious and clean house that always felt like a home away from home. It was a welcoming place to return to after each adventure. Also the food was perfectly organized and well cooked and always on request from the volunteers. The volunteering experience at the nearby hospital was incredible. Everything went smoothly, and the owner meticulously planned our stay at the hospital, ensuring we were well-prepared and comfortable. He also perfectly balanced our time at the hospital with downtime at the house, creating the ideal environment for both work and relaxation. One of the standout aspects of the experience was the owner’s flexibility, professionalism and kindness. He gave us the freedom to choose what we wanted to experience, making it a highly personalized trip. Well-known in the city, he always knew the best places to enjoy a great evening. Whether it was experiencing the local culture or trying the delicious local food, he made sure we had the perfect opportunity to immerse ourselves in it all. I am really happy to have made this experience with Ghana Volunteer, especially in this beautiful country that he brought closer to us. He made Ghana a second Home for us. And I cant wait to go back to Ghana and Ghana Volunteer. U can really tell, that he loves and appreciates his country and all the volunteers that will come. I travelled to Ghana twice to coach football to local children aged 5-16. It was an incredible and life changing experience. Eben and his team were fantastic hosts helping set up the football coaching and organising fun activities throughout the week. We also got the opportunity to explore Ghana on the weekends including the Gold Coast, the rainforest, and a safari. The local people are lovely and it’s a fantastic place to meet new friends who are also volunteering. I couldn’t recommend Eben and the experience any higher!

My experience with Ghana Volunteer International has been life-changing. For two months, I was able to volunteer in a local school and support the teachers. By that I helped children get a good school education. Everyone, the owner as well as the teachers and the kids, is so open minded and welcoming that you feel comfortable immediately. During your free time you have the opportunity to get to know the Ghanaian culture and the country itself. Traveling with the owner was always a great experience. Due to his knowledge about Ghana and the places we went to, everything was well planned and organized. We didn’t need to worry about anything while having a great time and being able to ask everything we wanted to know about the country and culture. All in all, my time here was great and will always have a special place in my heart, especially because of the people around me.

I have loved my time here in Ghana! Ebenezer has been so great and made sure that the programe has run smoothly. He has also given me many opportunities to go on some great weekend trips - I really loved the trip to Cape Coast - and really get emerced in Ghanas culture with local craft markets, African food and dancing!!

I spent 2 months in Ghana in 2023 and I had an amazing time in the most part due to Ebenezer. He is a fantastic guide taking us to all the wonderful spots Ghana has to offer. He is a knowledgeable tour guide taking us to the best places to go and teaching us about the history and importance of the locations we visit. He is also a wonderful person to have when showing us the nightlife Ghana (especially Accra) has to offer enshrining we have a great time whilst being mindful of our safety. Overall I could not have asked for a better guide (or person), 10/10 would (and have) recommended to friends.
