Cape Coast
Cape Coast is a historic coastal city in Ghana, known for its rich cultural heritage and beautiful beaches. It was once a major hub of the transatlantic slave trade and is now a place of deep historical significance and natural beauty. Located in the Central Region of Ghana, about a 2.5-hour drive from Accra, Cape Coast offers a variety of experiences. You can visit the Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with powerful history, explore the Kakum National Park, where you can walk on the famous canopy walkway above the rainforest, or simply wander through the city, discovering local restaurants and bars. During our visit, we stay at a beachfront hostel where you can relax by the ocean or enjoy activities in the area. Volta Region
The Volta Region is a breathtaking area in eastern Ghana, known for its lush green landscapes, serene atmosphere, and stunning waterfalls. It is the perfect destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Located near the Togo border, about a 3-4 hour drive from Accra, the Volta Region offers incredible outdoor activities. You can go hiking and mountain climbing, with trails leading to stunning viewpoints, or visit one of Ghana’s most famous waterfalls, where you can swim in the refreshing natural pools. During our visit, we stay in a peaceful and quiet hostel, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
